Cancellation & Refund Policy
How deposits, cancellations, and refunds work at Nolan Plumbing Services. Last updated July 15, 2026.
This policy explains how Nolan Plumbing Services LLC ("Nolan Plumbing Services, " "we," "us") handles deposits, cancellations, and refunds for plumbing services. It applies to every way you approve work with us: in your home, over the phone, or through our online portal.
Repairs and service visits
No deposit is required for standard repair and service visits. Payment is due when the work is complete.
Project deposits
For quoted projects, the deposit shown on your estimate reserves your place on our schedule and covers materials for your job. The deposit amount is always stated on the estimate before you approve it.
Cancel within 3 business days: full refund, automatic
If you cancel within 3 business days of approving an estimate, you receive a full refund of everything you have paid, issued within 10 days of your cancellation. You do not need to request this refund; your cancellation itself starts it. This applies to every approval channel, and it includes the three-day right to cancel provided by federal law (16 C.F.R. Part 429) and Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 10-1-6) for sales made in your home.
Cancel after 3 business days, before work begins
We refund what you have paid, minus documented costs we have actually incurred for your job, such as special-order or non-returnable materials, supplier restocking fees, and permits already pulled. Every deduction is itemized for you with the actual cost.
After work begins
Once work begins, you are responsible for the value of work performed, materials used or specially ordered, and other documented job costs. Any remaining balance of what you have paid is refundable on request.
How to request a refund
Call or text (470) 200-8900, email [email protected], or reply to your cancellation confirmation, which will state any refundable balance. Refunds go to your original payment method within 10 business days of your request. Refunds for cancellations within the 3-business-day window are automatic and do not require a request.
Prefer a credit?
Instead of a refund, you can apply any refundable balance as a credit toward rescheduled or future work. Just tell us when you cancel or reschedule.
Emergency service
For genuine emergencies where you ask us to begin work immediately, federal and Georgia law allow you to waive the three-day cancellation right with a separate signed statement. We only use this waiver for true emergencies, and our technician will explain it before any work starts.
Memberships
Membership plans renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Cancelling stops all future renewal charges. The full renewal terms are disclosed before you start a membership.
